Why is my card showing as unavailable on Google Play?

To fix the “Unavailable” message on Google Play during payment, please ensure your Play Store region is set to match the bank country of your card.

Before changing your region, make sure to unlink the card.

📍 How to Change Your Play Store Region

  • Open the Google Play Store app.

  • Tap your profile icon (top right corner).

  • Go to Settings > General > Account and device preferences.

  • Scroll to Country and profiles.

  • Select the new country (must match your card’s country).

  • Add a payment method from that country to complete the switch.


📝 Important Notes:

  • You can only change your region once per year.

  • Changing region may affect available apps and content.
